Information

Join us in the year 1562, for Mary Queen of Scots progresses through the countryside of Scotland. Queen Mary, newly arrived in Scotland, takes on visiting her nobility to reestablish herself as Queen.

Upon the death of her husband, the King of France, Mary Stuart finds herself returning home, to rule a country she has been away from since she was 5. She has to make connections with the nobles of her homeland, while exerting her rights as Queen. She did this through what was later to be called her progressses.

We portray the Queen's travels through the countryside of Scotland, with her complete household. From the lowly servant, to the highest Royal Stewart, the Queen had many people that would furnish her household or court. With her were courtiers, lancers, handmaidens and lads to serve, and her ladies in waiting. All accompanied the Queen through her travels. We portray period ceremonies such as knightings, coronations, and squirings.

We are available for bookings such as weddings, hand fastings, and baptisims. We can also be found at Celtic Festivals and Scottish Games throughout Northern California. Please call (650) 988-6284 for further information.
